President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on June 7th 2021, welcomed into the Jubilee House in Accra Ghana, the English International and Chelsea FC winger Callum-Hudson Odoi.
Callum-Hudson Odoi, born to a Ghanaian father who was also a sportsman and played for Accra Hearts of Oak SC by name Bismark Odoi, took time off a busy season of football to visit his family and friends in Ghana.
Callum has been in Ghana for a few days now and he has been very busy with his social life here in Ghana. He has played football with his friends and seen some tourist sites here in Ghana since he arrived.
The Champions League winner on Monday the 7th of June paid a courtesy call on the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, first of all, to greet and present to him his medal won in the 2020/21 Champions League season and to ask for his blessings for his future ahead of him.
The President welcomed Callum back to Ghana and congratulated him on all his successes as a young son of the land.
The President who is known to be a Tottenham Hotspur FC fan declared his willingness to support Chelsea FC if Callum accepts the offer to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
He (Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo) ordered the Minister for Youth and Sports to ensure that, Callum accepts to naturalise for Ghana and play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
Callum is expected to return to England after his holidays here in Ghana for the 2021/2022 English Premier League season. His visit to Ghana has spike interest in fans for Chelsea Fc and are expectant that his team wins the next challenge in the EPL.
