T.B Joshua dies six days to his 58th birthday, an untimely death

We regret to announce the sudden demise of one of Nigeria’s veteran preachers. Known from birth as Temitope Balogun Joshua but affectionately called TB Joshua. He was born on 12th June, 1963 and was the founder and overseer of SCOAN, Synagogue Church of All Nations. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained or made official but pending an autopsy report per the deposit of his body at the morgue.

His demise came as a shock to not just Africans but the world at large and has caused massive stir on social media. To some, this is a rumor they are waiting for the man of God to debunk but unfortunately this ‘untimely demise’ was confirmed on Sunday morning by his church.

According to the church, on Saturday, 5th June, 2021 a day before his passing he participated in Emmanuel TVs’ Partners Meeting where he made a renowned statement on Time. He states “There is time for everything, time to come for prayer and time to return home after service”. To the church this was a statement predicting the end of his days here on earth.

Sources reveal that the prophet prophesied his own death just about six days to the celebration of his 58th birthday. In an official statement released by the church through their Facebook page on the demise of their founder they quoted a Bible verse; Amos 3:7 which reads “Surely the sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plans to his servants the prophets”.

The Synagogue Church of All Nations however takes solace in the fact that the prophet spent his last days and precisely last moments doing the work of God hence God has called him home to be with Him in eternal peace. According to the church, he was born into service to God, lived for God and died doing His work. His last words were “watch and pray”.

In a video released by the prophet prior to his death, he spoke vehemently to his supporters and followers saying “June 12th is around the corner” a statement which meant he was anxiously looking forward to his 58th birthday a celebration he could otherwise not celebrate as he would have wished due to the ongoing situation the world finds itself in. But he urges all others to dedicate the day to fasting and prayer and that more birthdays were ahead. He further goes on to say “God bless you! Emmanuel Jesus is Lord! Happy Birthday”.

Though the prophet’s death is untimely, SCOAN believes his death is by the divine will of God and they appreciate all well-wishers for their sympathy and concern for the church and for the grieving family. They further add that his life is a life of service and sacrifice to God’s people and His kingdom and that his legacy lives on even to generations to come.

As the preacher persistently used to teach “the greatest way to use life is to spend it on something that will outlive it”. All patrons of TB Joshua are encouraged to learn from his good deeds here on earth and live exemplary lives worthy of emulation.

It is indeed the good legacies that matter. Rest well! Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua. May all sympathizers be comforted.
